The ITEP Gazette

With several educators, we created a "Gazette" project so that students find a place to express themselves other than social networks.

The newspaper was organized in 3 parts:

• A first part corresponding to articles written by the students themselves, educators, professionals met about what they experienced, important events...
• A second part represented the subjects that were close to their heart, like beloved artists, actors, animals...
• And finally, a games and cooking recipe section was set up. Students chose to create or search online games for comrades to put in the gazette. On the last page, students had to remember a recipe made with educators and home staff, which they had enjoyed. That way, they were lucky enough to be able to do it at home.

Students had to use Microsoft Publisher software to write their articles and attach their photos.

I was finalizing the work by making the final layout with the most motivated students.
The newspaper was then distributed to AFEJI partners, ITEP staff, students and their families. It was also available in digital version on the inside network of AFEJI, thus highlighting the work of students who often lack value for their work!
